ART DIRECTION STRATEGY PACKAGING SCREEN DESIGN
SALTED BEAUTY —— BRAND EXPERIENCE
Salted Beauty started a complete rebranding in summer 2021. In six month time, we updated the whole concept of the brand and adopted the new ton-of-voice. In a team of 4, we created a new brand strategy, a corporate identity, a new packaging style, a new UI/UX, a new social media content direction and we shot a complete brand campaign.
the whole brand revolves exclusively around products from the sea. We recentered the strategy on the water allegory: it is not about what the product does, but about the ingredients and their added-values. Product names have been removed to give space to the skincare process: 3+ steps for a perfect skin.
The grtsk variable typeface from black foundry was the focus point of the brand identity. a simple but extensive method of combining each style in a systemic way allowed a strong but versatile look and feel. the implementation of a creative coding tool to generate headlines effortlessly rounded up the typographic approach.

The campaign was shot with STUDIO-SYN from paris. Using a 6K cinematography camera only in film mode allowed us to isolate the best moments of each set-up in a very fluid and modern approach for social media and branding content.
From 30.000 INSTAGRAM followers before the rebranding, the brand doubled down on social media reaching about 71.000 followers in a few weeks. customers embraced the new look & feel slowly but steadily, leading to a stronger brand awareness and staggering sales growth.
